Brian Swift joined Security Research Associates, Inc. in 1989 as Director of Research, and in 1998 was elected to Chairman and CEO.
Before joining SRA, he was Director of Corporate Finance with Henry F. Swift & Co., a San Francisco based brokerage firm, after having earlier served as its Director of Research.
Specializing in small-cap and micro-cap companies, primarily in the software and semiconductor sectors, Brian has developed extensive experience in research, trading and sales to compliment his investment banking activities.
He is a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco, Financial Analysts Federation, a participant in American Electronics Association conferences for more than 30 years, and has developed extensive relationships with corporate managers, institutional investors and high net worth individual investors over his career. |

Timothy Collins joined SRA in August of 2005 to expand SRA’s Capital Markets group. Mr. Collins also Co-Founded KleenSpeed Technologies, Inc. in 2007. KleenSpeed is located at NASA Ames Research Park near Mountain View, CA and conducts research and development of electric power systems and components for electric vehicles.
Timothy began his career in Denver working part time with Peters Writer & Christensen a NYSE Member while he was finishing his BSBA at the University of Denver.
When the firm was purchased by F.I. Dupont in 1963 he became a principal with a small NASD firm in Denver and a year later bought the balance of the firm and changed the name to Collins Securities Corporation (CSC).
CSC quickly gained a foothold in the institutional equity community by recognizing the private demand for Uranium created by the construction of numerous nuclear power plants. CSC expanded by opening offices in New York and Los Angeles.
The firm broadened its research to the mining, oil and technology sectors. The firm completed several public offerings and banking assignments which included the IPO of Sensormatic Electronics and the sale of Shakey’s Pizza Parlors.
In 1975 Timothy exited the securities business and formed United Mining Corporation (UMC) which focused on coal, gold and silver exploration and development. UMC’s corporate headquarters moved to Reno, NV and several projects were started in Virginia City, Carlin and Battle Mountain Nevada as well as Wenatchee Washington and Bolivia.
UMC purchased an oil and gas exploration company in British Columbia and became traded on the Vancouver Exchange and subsequently NASDAQ. The price of metals and economics caused the company to sell off the projects, which was completed in 1990.
Timothy spent two years consulting to Nevada and California businesses and returned to the institutional securities business with L.H. Alton in San Francisco in 1993, and joined Van Kasper & Co. in January 1994 as Head of Institutional Sales.
Van Kasper was purchased by First Security Bank and subsequently by Wells Fargo Bank. Wells Fargo Securities shut down Sales, Research and trading in August of 2005 which enabled him to join SRA. |

Zack Cottrell joined SRA in January of 2007 to increase the presence of the firm on the west coast, in institutional sales and trading.
Zack was head of trading for 8 years while at EGM Capital (a small cap hedge fund) and also worked for another 16 years in the industry as a market maker, sales trader and salesman at various broker/dealers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Zack brings a wealth of knowledge, institutional relationships, and high net worth individual investors to the firm.

| Gary Hamilton - Managing Director | |

Gary Hamilton joined SRA in May 2005 to grow the firm's investment practice on the east coast.
Prior to joining SRA Gary was with the investment firm MS Howells, Inc., where he was involved in investment banking and proprietary research to a select group of institutional clients.
Gary's investment career began in venture capital, where he served as President/COO for select investments/acquisitions of Crossway Ventures, LLC. As president of Crossway Gary took an active roll with Crossway's portfolio companies, as long as needed to guide them to increased profitability in the capital/liquidity event.
Prior to his investment career Gary had gained more than 15 years of direct global experience in the Semiconductor Industry, interfacing with both capital equipment and semiconductor microprocessor manufacturers.
Over his career, Gary has facilitated major business alliances with Motorola, Chrysler, Pennzoil, Sumitomo and Honeywell. Also, he was founder of InterCool Energy Corporation, a division of Intermagnetics General Corporation. Gary served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Ben Franklin Technology Center, State of Pennsylvania, Crossway Ventures LLC, Philadelphia PA, and Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fairfield University – BEI School of Engineering. |

David Olson joined SRA in January 2004. He is currently focused on building out SRA's Investment Banking Group.
Prior to joining SRA, David worked for over seven years in the life sciences industry and was employed with Affymax as the Senior Director of Corporate Development, Titan Pharmaceuticals (AMEX:TTP) as the Director of Business Development, and Chiron Corporation (NasdaqNM:CHIR) as a Manager of Corporate Finance and Business Development.
He was involved in negotiating and executing several multi-million dollar collaborations, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as public and private financing transactions.
Prior to working in life sciences David worked for a boutique investment bank in San Francisco, Plantagenet Holdings Limited, as Director of Investment Analysis. PHL raised capital for and invested in venture stage investments. At PHL he led the analysis, valuation, and deal structuring activities.
David is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is a member of the Licensing Executive Society, CFA Institute/AIMR, and Security Analysts of San Francisco.
David received his BBA and MBA from the University of Michigan where he graduated with the honors of High Distinction.
He has also served on the Board of Directors for several high-technology and life science based private companies where he has managed or played an important role in numerous private placement financings. |

| Ki Ingersol - Managing Director | |

Ki Ingersol joined Security Research Associates in 2011 as a Managing Director. Mr. Ingersol is part of SRA's Post-PC software and hardware Investment Banking Team.
Mr. Ingersol was formerly with Multiple Financial Services, Inc. and First National Investment Banking.
Mr. Ingersol has been involved in corporate turnaround projects, and co-founded a consolidation of video game software development companies, and was the founding CEO of Hostcentric, a consolidation of web hosting companies.
Mr. Ingersol is trained as an attorney, and previously practiced in the Corporate Finance, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions groups of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and Morrison & Foerster.
Mr. Ingersol is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and earned an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
Mr. Ingersol holds the Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 securities licenses. |

| James Magowan | |

James Magowan Joined SRA in April 2010 to build on their track record of success in investment banking for renewable energy and sustainable materials sectors.
With a background as a Principal in real estate development, consulting, and executive management, James joined Johnson Capital, one of the largest national real estate investment banks. As an Analyst and Director from 2001 to 2008, James worked with a dynamic team to structure and place several hundred million of debt and equity for public and private companies nationally and internationally.
He specialized in opportunistic “business plan” financings for institutional investors. For clients that included land, hotel, housing, retail and office owners and developers, James structured investments from endowments, pension funds, opportunity funds, and various debt sources. His assignments included engagements with such public clients as Winston Hotels (WXH), Goldman Sachs (GS), and LNR Property (LNR).
James has also raised capital for urban green housing and urban redevelopment projects, employing tax credits and structured project finance.
In 2005, James launched Housing MicroFinance, LLC to provide strategic advisory services to development banks on housing and inclusive housing finance globally. His advisory assignments have included work with Nederlandse Financieringsmaatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden (FMO), Swiss Fund for Emerging Markets (SIFEM), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and World Bank/International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Since joining SRA, James has focused his efforts on the investment banking needs of public and private companies and funds in the areas of housing, renewable energy, energy efficiency, inclusive finance (microfinance) and health.
James holds an AB from Harvard University and an MBA from IMD International. He is an Alumni Advisory Board Member of the Harvard Real Estate Academic Initiative and serves on the Advisory Board of Swiss holding company, Global Microfinance Group. |
